Companön Coffee Roastery
Companion Coffee Roastery is based in Ripon, WI, and operates alongside Vines & Rushes Winery.
The goal was to create a logo that felt like a handwritten note from a dear friend—warm, personal, and rooted in a rustic, vintage aesthetic. I began by sketching several concepts featuring an individual seated at a café. Over time, the design was thoughtfully refined into a simplified silhouette of a man in a hat holding a cup of coffee.
To maintain visual consistency between the two brands, I incorporated Vines & Rushes’ established red and expanded the color palette with complementary neutral tones, creating a cohesive connection across both identities.
